A WhatsApp conversation between a man who traveled abroad and his nursing wife in Nigeria arguing over monetary matters has surfaced online.
The man had apparently traveled to Europe sometime back and his wife thought he would have settled in and started making money, however, he claimed otherwise.
The woman is a nursing mother, and she informed her husband that the baby’s food is exhausted while they are also in need of diapers.
In the voice note, she asked him to send the money to buy the abovementioned items, and as she was talking, the baby could be heard crying in the background.
But the man complained that he is yet to start making money as he has not found a job yet in Europe.
He suggested that she should introduce the child to breast milk instead of buying formula. He also said that an alternative to diapers is to tie a cloth on the baby to serve the same purpose.
The man lamented bitterly that he is 40 years old and does not want to be speaking repeatedly about the same matter neither does he want to be bothered.
He also recommended introducing the baby to eating eba, adding that the child is now more than a year old and should have stopped taking baby food.
