A Nigerian man has donated the sum of N500,000 to the campaign of the Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
According to the ardent supporter identified as @RichMoney001 on Twitter, the money he donated his 9 months savings.
He took to the micro blogging platform to make the announcement while appealing to Obi to not disappoint him if he is elected president come 2023.
According to @RichMoney001, the decision he took is in the interest of his future children, adding that he will make more donations before the election.
He tweeted: ”Am using my 9months savings to secure my future generation yet unborn. Pls @PeterObi when you become president come 2023 election pls don’t disappoint me and other youths that believes in you.
My donation for @PeterObi campaign is not a mistake and i will donate more before the election, is my own little way of contributing for a better Nigeria. God bless Nigeria.”

Victor Isreal, one of the grassroot mobilisers for the Obidient movement, made this known via Twitter on Thursday, August 11, 2022.
