Alhaji Ebun Oloyede, also known as Olaiya Igwe, a well-known Nigerian actor and award-winning producer, has explained why he prostrated for MC Oluomo after the latter gave him a brand-new automobile a few weeks ago.

Remember that a video of the well-known Nigerian entertainer bowing down to MC Oluomo a few weeks ago went viral online? An event that elicited conflicting responses from many Nigerians on social media.

MC Oluomo, whose real name is Musiliu Akinsanya is one of the most respected transporters in the country. He is a former Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos State.

In a recent interview with BBCYoruba, Olaiya Igwe, who spoke in Yoruba stated that he prostrated for MC Oluomo because he appreciates the car he gave him even though he has his own car.

He noted that MC Oluomo is like a younger brother to him because he is related to his late mother but he still has to call him boss or king because of the position God has placed him.
